Data Deletion

Ripplux is committed to your privacy and your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Ripplux, and what happens when you do.
1. How to Delete Your Data
There are four ways to request deletion of your data from Ripplux:
Option A: Self-serve form (any visitor)
Submit your email below. We'll cascade your request across every system Ripplux ships data to and email you a per-network outcome report within 72 hours. No account required.
Option B: From your Ripplux dashboard (account holders)
- Log in to your dashboard at app.ripplux.com
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click Delete my account…, then I understand, continue
- Type your exact store domain (e.g.
your-store.myshopify.com) to confirm - Click Schedule deletion
This schedules your account for deletion with a 90-day grace period: your data is kept safe and restorable for 90 days, and we email reminders before the deadline. After 90 days it is permanently purged in a GDPR-compliant erasure and the action becomes irreversible.
Option C: From your Facebook/Meta settings
If you connected your Meta Ads account to Ripplux, you can remove Ripplux from your Facebook account:
- Open your Meta account’s connected-apps settings (in the Meta Accounts Center / Settings, under Apps and websites)
- Find Ripplux and remove it
When you remove Ripplux, Facebook notifies us automatically. We will delete all Meta-related data (ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, performance insights, and campaign snapshots) within 24 hours.
Option D: By email
If you cannot log in to your dashboard, email privacy@ripplux.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your Ripplux account. We will process your request within 30 days as required by PIPEDA, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.
2. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account or when Facebook notifies us that you removed the app, the following data is permanently deleted:
- Meta Ads data: ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, daily performance insights, creative metrics, campaign snapshots. Meta access tokens are revoked.
- Google Ads data: ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, performance metrics. Google tokens are revoked.
- Shopify data: order records (linked only to an opaque Shopify customer reference: we never store customer names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses), product records.
- Audit reports: all waste analysis reports, decisions, and action items.
- Experiment data: holdout experiment configurations and results.
- Account data: your merchant profile, email address, notification preferences, and billing information. Your Shopify subscription is cancelled.
- Authentication tokens: your session cookie is cleared and all OAuth tokens are invalidated.
3. Deletion Confirmation
If you removed Ripplux from your Facebook/Meta settings, you may have received a confirmation code. This code confirms that your Meta data deletion request has been processed. You can verify the status of your deletion request by contacting us at privacy@ripplux.com with your confirmation code.
4. Data Retention
When you confirm deletion, your account enters a 90-day grace period: your data is hidden but kept safe, and you can restore it at any time with one click. After 90 days it is permanently purged in a GDPR-compliant erasure. Any encrypted off-site backups are held strictly beyond use and are never retained longer than 90 days; in the rare event we restore from a backup, your erasure is re-applied so deleted data is never reintroduced. Once the purge completes, deletion is irreversible.
